Ever since the early days of jazz, when a young Louis Armstrong was playing with King Oliver, the best way to learn the music has been through working with older, experienced musicians. This past week, a dozen top Twin Cities jazz veterans shared their expertise with 85 kids during an intensive, five-day music camp devoted exclusively to jazz.
