As much as hockey fans like to rip on Bettman, he still hands Lord Stanley’s Cup to the captain of the team that won it. Leave the guys with suits in their luxury boxes, the trophy should belong to the players.
On the actual topic, I’m happy for Garnett. After however many years of futility in Minnesota he deserves success wherever he needs to go to get it.
