I just went past the xcel. Hundreds of people in lines that are over a block long. One of the lines actually crosses a street (seventh?). Police are starting to close down roads.

I don't know why anyone would want to be VP rather than a US Senator. That job sucks. And it's no sure thing that you'll end up in the big chair in 8 years.

1. Higher pay
2. Less work
3. The chance you can run the show, yet take much less of the heat.

Sounds like a plan to me.
