That bug is pretty well traveled. I had it earlier last week, but I figured I had picked it up from my sister’s kids in Fargo over Easter weekend. It ripped through her whole family, and also hit both my parents last week too.

Man, I'm glad I didn't do my stint as S-bux shift supervisor in this state!

In contrast, store managers and assistant store managers perform different functions and do not share in the tips, O'Neil said.

Yes, they do perform other tasks that baristas and even shift supervisors don't, but they also sling espresso, run the till, greet customers, demo machines, clean, restock and mop the floors.

Everyone in a green apron behind the counter helps customers and serves drinks, so they should all be a part of splitting the tips, and I'm perplexed that a barista would think his or her co-workers don't deserve it. Unless their shift supervisors and managers were dogging out on their floor duties, this is stupid.
