I’m less than a month away from being able to bike to work (corporate office move from far north to near north burbs). I can NOT wait for that! Going to figure out my commute route this weekend.

My wife started bike commuting during the bus strike. Aside from taking the bus, in the morning in the winter, the MCTO for the most part lost a steady customer.
Me? I have a bike, but I don’t ride it much. Find I don’t enjoy riding it in the city. I’ll probably ride it less this spring. With all the talk about the limitless virtues of it, I start to feel social pressure.
When that happens, my natural inclination is to dig in and resist it.

I’ll wait for the snow to be (mostly) gone before I start biking. The routes I take are a little crowded with all of the snow berms beside the road. (Not to mention slick…)

It would be cool if we could get enough bikers to kick Portland’s ass and move into the #1 biking city in the US (currently we are #2)

Did someone say kick Portland’s ass?

The T-wolves didn’t help the cause last night.
F*cking Portland.
