Looks like Tom Gegax from Tires Plus was a John Edwards guy, but now he’s switched over to Obama in a big way.

Also, it appears that Denny Hecker and his wife Tamitha both gave money to Giuliani, then Denny decided to slip a little something to Obama as well.

Carl Pohlad supports Obama, as does Keith Ellison. In fact, it looks like Obama has a huge amount of support in Minneapolis, based on campaign contributions.

I always used tray.com, which is now cq.com money line. Very interesting…

The Target PAC no doubt exists, just like Honeywell and probably many more corporations… especially those in defense… has its own PAC funded by matching employees’ contribution to a charity of their choice.

THis appears to be only presidential candidates, not PACs, Congressional races or state races. Fun anyway.

The search tool is not very inclusive. It will only search for exactly what you type in. So if you type Target you will get different results than if you search for Target Corporation.

The fine print states “All calculations are based on public records filed with the FEC of contributions by all individuals totaling more than $200 (and some totaling less than $200) to a single Republican or Democratic presidential campaign or national committee for the 2004 and 2008 election cycles.”

Newsmeat lists me as giving $350 to America Coming Together in 2004. That was for Springsteen tickets, which I eventually had to sell at a huge loss because 1. soft demand for the show flooded the market with excess tickets, and 2. it conflicted with Twins playoff games.

That doesn’t support your “most” contention.

Among men, Republicans only have a plurality. Most men DON’T identify as Republican: they identify as independent or Democrat. The best you could say is that more men voted Republican.

If you look at the “partisan trend” table, the Democratic party gender gap for men is considerably smaller than the Republican’s female gender gap.

Not to mention that that data is 3+ years old, and they used 9/11 as the dividing point. I’d like to see data from the 2006 election. My suspicion is the gap has closed considerably.
