I have flown in a number of Army rotory-wing aircraft, including the vernurable Huey, the odd Chinook, the wicked Blackhawk and the tiny Kiowa scout helicopter.

Altitude matters more. More dense air is easier to push with the rotors.

Someday I want a few helicopters and a serious boat I'll crew with busty internet models and their close look-a-likes. We we will sail the old world tropical seas, the Indian Ocean, and respond to natural disasters, famine, and strife with credible, yet scantily-clothed, humanitarian assistance. I will call it BustyRelief^TM

That is the only reason I know anything about helicopters, really. That and a book by a Vietnam war vet and Army aviator, Robert Mason, called "Chickenhawk". Good read.

You can crawl in and out of those things without understanding how they work. Really, it is best if you don't.
