Kevin D. Hendricks started the blog Start Seeing Art a couple months ago which showcases public art around the Twin Cities and mashes it up on a Google Map. Recent posts include the Peace House Mural by Angela Carlson, the Freewheel Bike Mural by David Trinque and the North Saint Paul Snowman by Lloyd Koesling. What a great idea!

Sweet. They oughta look to North Minneapolis, where the now-painted-over “Love thy bro” graffiti and Juxtaposition Arts are (here’s one of theirs).

Thanks for the plug! It’s been a fun project and kind of amazing to discover how much public art is in the Twin Cities.
You can also see my post Busy Week at Start Seeing Art for recent additions from the last week or so.
nside1, thanks for the suggestion. I’m just starting to include more Minneapolis murals–and wow are there a lot of them. And I actually already had that Eyeteeth post bookmarked–hopefully I’ll get to it soon.
Finally, if anyone can help identify work, we have plenty of unknown artwork, both on Start Seeing Art and the Artsy Twin Cities Flickr Group.
thanks!
