Never mind that most of society, starting with the tax code, is geared entirely to your benefit. When a couple of trendy restaurants don't follow suit by messing up their dining rooms with crayons and plastic sporks, it's a federal crime. She's super anti-chain restaurant so it's really important to find local, kid friendly eateries and Cafe Twenty Eight is awesome. They not only have a kids menu, but they are very kid/family-friendly. We've been there a few times and the kids love it.
