Great blog! Cool cats!

Lurve it! A cat I know personally may have her own profile soon.

Thanks for the props.

If anyone here wants their cat profiled, send me an email.

I’m keeping the site simple and sticking to the cats. As someone that bitches about local media, rips apart other people’s web 2.0 projects and dabbles in politics online, having a site that’s only about cats is a healthy thing for me.

I will also be sending in a profile (after I sort through the 8 million pictures I have of them).

P.S. Do you do profiles of awesome cats that passed away? Cuz that would be awes.

Could there be LOL cats in our future today?

It’s discrimination I tell you! No props for the non-mammalian pet crowd.

That is just darling.

Our plump parlor panther Torii wants to be profiled, too. He wants his 15 minutes.

Nice.

So, for Christmas last year, a friend got me a “Cats Against the Bomb” calendar, put together by a bunch of very earnest, very weird old women who are members of Nebraskans for Peace. The calendar seems to work on the idea that if people just looked at enough pictures of cats, with “inspirational” quotes next to them, we’d all just throw our weapons into the sea.

It’s very strange, and I don’t think our dog likes it at all.

I’m totally sending in a profile of my two tripod cats today!

Our cat smeagol is super weird. He’s very dog-like.
I’lls ee what I can get together and send to you.

I used to have a cat named smeagol, too.

More fluffy adorable kittens is just what the Internet needs.

Perhaps it’s time for June to have her fifteen minutes. Hmmm.

Huh?

Kev, a tripod cat is a feline that has lost a limb. There is a tripod dog I saw all summer being walked around Como Lake — he seemed to love his time out and adapted to three-legged life very well.

I thought a tripod was a well-endowed midget.

When my childhood dog (a sheltie) had her puppies, one of them was a tripod (no leg past the knee). She kept trying to walk on her stump and the vet had to remove the rest of her leg. We gave her to our grandparents and my gramps spoiled her rotten.

Kevin, I have 2 3-legged cats: Kitty Carryall and Tapioca Puddington Kittensworth III. They are both girls, both gray, and both missing the same back leg. And they are so in loves! They cuddle and make out all the time. They are so weird.

My dearly departed Spike and Cosmo would do that too…I called it “prison gay.”

Oh I see. My parents have a cat back on the farm with a broken leg that doesn’t bend out straight. It runs really fast, but tends to veer to the right. We named him Broken Leg.

Torii (now featured on Aaron’s blog!) and Bertie caper most romantically, usually just outside the bedroom door. So much, in fact, we now call it “Brokeback Hallway.”

Kevin, that’s a very creative name. Kitty Carryall also runs sideways and can go really fast. And she warbles while she does it. It’s hilarious to watch.

Thanks. Broken Leg, Loogie and Moo Cow are the only ones who survived the stupid-face pandemic. It was a rough summer.

Dumbest website ever and MnSpeak jumps the shark.

Anyone see the orange and white kitty sitting on a picnic table
looking in the windows of Muddy Waters Coffee on Lyndale this
morning?

It’s Nov 2…hope it was not dumped when someone moved.

Or maybe it just needed some caffiene!

JACC, drop me a note and we’ll get your cat on there too.

Heh. I thought cat blogs went out of style in 1997. My cat isn’t that old.

Do you realize there is a fantastic place at the St. Paul Human Society called the Cattery? It’s a big room where all the cats waiting to be adopted hang out. There’s like 20 cats in there at a time! Totally awss!

There’s also Feline Rescue in St. Paul where most of the cats live in rooms instead of cages :)

Your envy shows right through your sarcasm, cool cat.

Ya got yer dog people, ya got yer cat people.

Jus sayin’

i love this idea and my cat will send a request to be added as soon as she wakes up from her nap…which will probably be at 11:30pm.

does s4xton’s lawn gnome own a meow?

It was the only cat mask I had that day.

This is nothing more the Cat Pron. Aaron should be ashamed of himself for his exploitation of underage kittens. s4xton is the larry flint of kitty porn.
