That commercial is craptastic. If they are springing for tv media time they should have a commercial contest and reward the winner with some swag and beer.

I must admit: as a guy partial to my Wisconsin microbrews (Capitol, Sprecher, Riverfront).. I’m really enjoying the Surly. Furious is great, I like the Oktoberfest and Bender is also pretty good. Glad to see they’re doing well. And they should advertise on DeBlog.

yeah that commercial is awful….
but i highly doubt they’d ever air that as a TV commercial…

Surly; good. That bit of video work; horseshit.
The only redeeming element was the timing of the cut to the product shot prior to the can hitting it’s target.

i’n not a big beer drinker, but i tried a surly on my birthday and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was.
the commercial is crap, but in a good crap kinda way.

Surly had nothing to do with the production of this video.A couple fans of the beer made it for fun,not for TV.With that in mind,it’s better than getting a fan poem.
