“A WCCO-TV female photojournalist brought one of the boxes out of the restroom, so reporter Jason DeRusha could analyze the contents.”

DeRusha cursed her presence as he wanted to finally get a peek in the ladies’ turlet.

Did it look like this?

I see a screen play coming from this story. “Porcelain Kingdom”

It was tricky to write the anchor toss to my story:

Jason DeRusha takes us inside the restroom. Nope.

Jason DeRusha shows us what’s inside. Still no good.

WCCO’s Jason DeRusha discovered… Again wrong.

Thank goodness for Carly Danek. The discussion as to whether she should take one of the boxes out of the bathroom was amusing, too.

It’s not local, but the headline is too good to pass up on a Friday.

Mr. Potato Head: inspired. In 2002, I did a story in Milwaukee about someone smuggling E in a teddy bear. Sent it with a Valentine’s Day card. Good stuff.

I didn’t know Mr. Potato Head was a raver!

Is the “anchor toss” an olympic sport?

If not, shouldn’t it be?

I can think of a few I wouldn’t mind being tossed my way. ;)

He’s not an anchor, but I’m guessing I could toss Paul Douglas about half a city block.

so, uh, I was flipping through the channels last night after the office, and landed on the news on fox9 and the weather guy was on (talking about the coming stormpocalypse, so I stopped) and I could have sworn I heard him say “nipple-sized hail” followed shortly after by “hot juicy air”

ummmm

Sam McCloud – local legend – gets busted for . . . Vicodin?

Haven’t they figured out yet that the main reason people buy illicit Vicodin is because of chronic pain that the docs won’t treat because of how paranoid the feds have made the docs over pain medication?

They need to find something better to do.

Vicodin makes me cry during jewlery commercials.
