Vita.mn relaunch

I still have no idea how to use it or why anyone bothers.

Ummm…it doesn’t look very different?

Honestly, you people! You missed the new “dress Alexis” section, where you get to choose outfits and accesories for the Devine Ms. A online!

I find it interesting that the site is actually encouraging stalking, cyber or otherwise.

bob, can we make her wear a trash-bag?

derelict!

Um, it looks like they just moved stuff around…

josie, i thought the same thing.

To me, vita.mn seems like a solid concept, but the website has always thoroughly confused me so I never use it as a resource. It’s a little disappointing to see that some basic usability wasn’t part of the upgrade – like, for example, what exactly is the difference between a “guide” and a “list”, and why is it so complicated to find recommendations for a place to have brunch in St. Paul?

why is it so complicated to find recommendations for a place to have brunch in St. Paul?
Because Alexis is too busy sleeping off her hangover w/ unknown male at that time.

heh, i dont even know the poor girl…kidding, alexis.

Because we don’t have this “brunch” in St. Paul.
We have this thing called “church” instead.

What next – “Dress Claude and Rick”?

Churches have wine, right? That might work in a pinch.

why is it so complicated to find recommendations for a place to have brunch in St. Paul?
Because The Saint Paul is all you need for a serious ass kicking brunch.

Is the reinvent anywhere near as cool or useful as sotanlife.com?

I hope The Saint Paul is ass-kicking as the waffles are fifteen dollars.

fortunately, my work web browser still blocks access to Vita.mn

my brain filter blocks vita.mn

I just … can’t type it. Not that that’s a problem.

I meant “un”fortunately.

um, if you don’t know the difference between a guide and a list, the site probably isn’t meant for you. i mean, the difference is precisely the definition of the two words.

how to guide to using vita.mn

Not that it will help you navigate through it.
My issue is that there doesn’t seem to be many users, outside of strib employees to make it interesting enough to keep visiting.

I know the difference between a guide and a list in life. However, those definitions don’t seem to translate to vita.mn.

that’s just silly. lay off the beer!

It’s a bad sign when you need a guide to help people navigate through your website.

This commentary is pathetic. But it’s certainly a nice little online clique. Too bad most of you still dream of your glory days in high school.

I found none of your comments about the new or old vita.mn enlightening or enlightened.

By all means, respond with comments about vita.mn that enlighten and, um, enlighten. Or do you really think the best response to what you see as useless complaining is to complain uselessly?

I think between Metro mag, MNSpeak, Mpls Metroblogging, and Shitty Pages, this website is all but doomed to the abyss of oversaturation. They simply aren’t interesting or different , nor do they possess ANY intrinsically distinguishable characteristics that set them apart in any immediately identifiable way.

And the worst part is, they have NO idea how truly uninteresting they are.
Wish it was different, as I think their intentions are good, but at the end of the day, it’s all in the execution. And theirs is mediocre.

You guys need to get a hold of some IP address recognition.

All right, rereading these last comments, it’s obvious someone is using this post as a pretext for spamming the site with anti-City Pages comments. It’s a derail, it’s not the function of this site, and they’ve been deleted. Whoever’s doing it, stop it.
