hi — i’m starting a new job in edina next month. i’m moving from salt lake city and i have a few questions. a) i’m buying a house without seeing it – what kind of area is edina? i’ve heard all sorts of rumors about supposed snobbiness – is it truly an inclusive area? b) though the church handles much of this, i figure i can get a better handle on it from real live people…what’s the Mormon culture like in that area? IS there a Mormon culture? c) i have two six year old twins. what do you like to do with your kids on weekends? thanks. i look forward to meeting some minnesotans.

Edina is a nice place to live. I don’t live there myself but have several good friends who have lived there for quite a few years. Sure there are some who have an attitude should we say, but most of the city is pretty decent. Lots of shopping, resturants, churches. Many beautiful homes as well in many price ranges. A lot of just regualr type homes to. I don’t know anything about the Morman culture or church. Hope this helps a bit.
