Note also the display ClearWay Minnesota (the former MPAAT) has outside the Food Building.
Unique.
Mrs. Lungs and I have pledged to try a new (to us) food at the Fair this year. Me: honey ice cream. Her: the frozen butterscotch cake on a stick (sold at the Scotch Eggs stand).
Bob & Company will be on the 5 p.m. newscast for Blimp 9 on Friday. Tune in, and live-blog your critiques…

Joe Kimball, buyout-taking Strib columnist, is continuing his popular State Fair blog at Minnesota Monitor this year. He says he’ll do five posts a day during the week and roundup posts on the weekend. It’ll deviate from MnMon’s public affairs approach: “t would get staler than yesterday’s cheese curds if we spent the next 12 days stalking the glad-handing politicians who find their way to the fair each year like bees to the cotton candy booth. Sure, if Chris Coleman burns his mouth on a corn dog or his non-brother Norm gets lost in Ye Olde Mill, I’ll let you know. But mostly we’ll just have some fun.”

Actually, Spam curds sounds kinda tasty…
I have always preferred my placebos lightly grilled with extra virgin olive oil.
