If it were my dog, I'd feel so sad seeing him like that I would surrender him to a shelter with a no-kill policy - perhaps one with a foster program - in hopes that he'd have a better life or I might be able to get him back one day. Particularly if it means that the animal will end up at the Humane Society where it will likely be destroyed. I saw a panhandler with an obviously underfed dog and I couldn't help but feel that it was done intentionally so that people would give the man money for the sake of the dog. In the winter I gave him a Starbucks card I had been given as an Xmas gift. I didn't want it and I figured he'd like an excuse to hang out in a nice warm place for at least a few minutes. <br /> <br /> What I have noticed in the last few weeks is that now there are two guys and a gal that use the same sign at the exact same intersection.
