I was thinking this thread was gonna be linked to conclusive proof that GWB was testing his “weather machine” that he used to destroy New Orleans (for political gain, no less). But instead it was about inept weathermen.

I was a little pissed that we didn’t get any severe stuff myself. I charged the batteries in the camcorder for nothing.

We've seen them stop dead in midair for seconds in windy conditions and all of a sudden you can hear the engines roar as they increase power to keep from falling to the ground. Our little house sat a block away from the end of a runway, pretty site at night, but a year after we moved there was a plane that crashed into the kitchen of a house a block away from us.
