Oh, no. I still remember it. I'm tempted to use it whenever I see folks having a sign language conversation. Except that would be really childish and I usually just smirk to myself instead.

I hope you can see this becasue I'm doing it as hard as I can.

Well, if I was wrong, the I was wrong. And I apologize, Amber.

But, like I said, personal experience has tended to make me take comments like that at face value. And, yes, unfortunately, in my own experience, women tend to be worse. Maybe it’s simply because the majority of my loss in the higher frequencies, where womens voices tend to be, causes the greatest impect in interactions with women, but that’s been my personal experience. And it does suck.

mnblrkmkr, give me a break. First you accuse me of actually hating deaf people (guess all the time I spend learning sign language is only so I can sign slurs to them), then you break out the "especially a woman" comment.

And seriously? Who could hate deaf people? I know a few who think it's funny to make fun of them (which I don't condone nor let slide without an accusing comment), but seriously? Deaf people? And why?!?!

I'm still jealous. Their temporary library is open 7 days a week, and for 4 of those days it's open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Some say the shelves are half empty, but I say the shelves are half full.
