Rockstar Storytellers, a talented troupe of local tale spinners, make a special late night appearance at the Theater Garage tonight. Hosted by the always entertaining Joseph Scrimshaw and featuring writers Courtney McLean, Phillip Low, Laura Bidgood, Amy Salloway, and Michael Shaeffer. This rousing holiday special will delight you with irreverent style and humor.

Hot Roxx Hexmas

The heyday of glam rock gets revisited this evening at the Hex! Join Hot Roxx DJs Macku$ and Jen as they host this festive live music showcase featuring local bands playing covers of '70s rock n' roll classics and holiday favorites. Hot Roxx will flip records between sets to keep the party going, and the Hex will sling plenty of brown liquor and cheap suds for the masses, as usual. Comics Come Home For The Holidays

The Bedlam Theatre turns into a comedy club for this hilarious special event! A comedy show featuring Minnesota natives that have returned to the Land of 10,000 Lakes for the holiday season, you'll be entertained by the likes of Matthew Sullivan, Casey Feigh, Johnny Pemberton, and Hugh Moore. Hit the 8 p.m. show to see special guests Tim Harmston (Friday) and Maggie Faris (Saturday), or the 10 p.m. show for funnymen Tom Steffen (Friday) and Andy Ritchie (Saturday). Sip a specialty brew in the cozy confines of the Bedlam and treat yourself to one of their famous pizzas to fuel up before the show.

What better way to wrap up the peaceful holiday season than with roller derby? Join Northstar  Roller Girl teams The Violent Femmes, The Banger Sisters, The Killmore Girls, and Delta Delta Di as they square off in two separate bouts. Where else can you satisfy your craving for violent contact sports and looking at pretty girls in one shot? Be sure to hit up the official post-bout party at Lee's Liquor Lounge for DJs, dancing and minglin' with the roller babes themselves!
