If you’ve been waiting for just the right reason to head over to the new Bedlam space Lowertown, here you go. Choreographer Morgan Thorson has not only assembled a great group of performers for the new piece YOU, but the piece explores the “tells,” tensions, and tricks that make a dance ensemble tick. We typically refrain from nostalgia, lest we end up telling the same stories over and over, but we’re excited for the on-going rebirth of the Bedlam, which has been one of our favorite performance places and spaces, and to see work that includes the likes of local talents Max Wirsing and Maren Ward. If you’re going, better grab tickets ahead of time. 8pm. $12 for Saturday – Thursday; $18 on March 28 and 29; pay what you can on Monday, March 24th.
