There’s not many tickets left for the Sound Unseen screening of Queercore: How to Punk a Revolution, and understandably so. The can’t-miss documentary is chock full of footage of a new community taking on in a very loud way issues of homophobia, gender, feminism, AIDS, assimilation, sex, and art inside and outside of the country’s punk scenes, and features everyone from John Waters to Penny Arcade to Pansy Division to Kathleen Hanna and many more. If you’re fast enough to score a ticket to the film, it will get you half off beers at the after-party at Moon Palace Books. Wednesday, June 13th, 8 PM. $10 advance, $12 door.Curt Stanski
