A strong case could be made that 2018 was the year of Muja Messiah—he’s been putting out aggressive tracks all year long, he’s been on some of the biggest local hip-hop bills of the year, and CP named his EP Saran Rap a best—and his music/activism/musical activism has been much needed in the political climate. This week he keeps on his grind with a new project called MUOG with the gritty voiced OG Grip and the show is another one of those big bills with Maria Isa, DJ Mickey Breeze, DJ Tony Trouble, Buddy Mclain, and a who’s who of the underground hip-hop scene in attendance. Thursday, November 6th, 10 PM. $10.Johnny Cairo
