Part-lecture, part-experiment, part-conversation, all very exciting, the new Incubator Project performance at WAM showcases the grand talents of artists-in-residence Rachel Jendrzejewski and Terry Hempfling in discussion with Professor of Kinesiology Dr. Thomas Stoffregen. The po-mo evening is a part of the larger and exciting three-year collab between Hempfling and Jendrzejewski—any fans of new performance should read up on the duo’s work wherein they “exchange and layer movement and speech; break spoken word and make new demands of it; and engage in physical endurance and multitasking exercises with people and environments”. Very cool stuff, get to the Weisman early for a good spot, there’s going to be a who’s who of the performance scene filling up the audience alongside you. Wednesday, April 10, 7 PM. Free, registration suggested.Hitara
