Not everyone in the Twin Cities is vegan, but it’s safe to say that few don’t like free food. The Twin Cities Veg Fest this Saturday will have exhibitors, vendors, food, and speakers on the topic of all things vegetarian and vegan. With the tag line, “A Celebration of Compassionate Living,” these animal advocates will be there to teach you how to be healthy without meat, where your food comes from, and why going veg benefits the greater good. Whether you’re a meat-eating skeptic or an aspiring vegetarian, there’s lots to see and do at this first ever Twin Cities Veg Fest. Grab a friend or two and find out just how good vegan food can taste from vendors like Seward Cafe and Asasa Yaa. 10 a.m. Free. —AA
