Many of us were pretty bummed yesterday at the news of David Bowie‘s death . . .  well, bummed to say the least, some of us were pretty heartbroken. We knew right away, too, that Bowie super-fan DJ Jake Rudh would be especially saddened at the death of his hero—his DJ nights and program are called “Transmission” after all. So to pay tribute to our collective hero, the rock ‘n’ roll chameleon, Rudh has bumped up his Transmission night to tonight at the Varsity to play four hours of Bowie for you to dance and cope. RIP, Ziggy. 10 PM-2 AM. Free. —Robert Johansen
