The First Ave venues have another busy night with a sold out Beck show at the Palace and the one and only New Power Generation in the Mainroom, but we’re also hyped on Thursday’s shows at the Entry and Turf Club. You should be, too: In downtown MPLS, Radio K presents a fat noisy bill headlined by Nothing, a band that successfully captures the sound and spirit of post-punk art rock with three equally loud and great openers. Then over in St. Easy, the young bucks in White Denim hold high the flag of polished pop, and they’re joined by the acclaimed guitar-slinger Rotem Sivan. Pick one and go! Thursday, 7 PM. $18 door.
