How do you get hyper-local in art? Textile artist Annabella Sardelis and visual artist Annie Irene Hejny forge new ground by foraging for local plants to create natural dyes and pigments, using the new lush and highly specific colors in Hejny’s abstract paintings and Sardelis’ new line of wool scarves, and calligraphy prints, all of which will be on display surrounded by an installation of sample specimens at this new and exciting exhibition. Opening reception, Thursday, October 24th, 7-10 PM. $5, free for members. —Hank Stacks
