The Saved by the Bell Show at Bryant Lake Bowl

Saved by the Bell

Mark-Paul Gosselaar’s on TNT, Mario Lopez got married on television, and Screech is bankrupt. If the original cast of Saved By the Bell is too busy to get together for a reunion, at least Dana’s Boys can give us what we want. The Minneapolis theater troupe returns tonight with its latest “Saved By the Bell Show,” a series of reenacted episodes for a live crowd, cheesy ’90s commercials included.

Dana’s Boys return for their fifth year of acting out everyone’s favorite episode, teaching the dangers of an addiction to caffeine pills. This time around they’ll also be forming their own girl group (sorry Lea Michele, Tiffani-Amber was way ahead of you) and striking oil on Bayside property. The original Mr. Dewey from the series and Wisconsin-native, Patrick O’Brien, will reprise his role for the Bryant Lake Bowl audience. 8 p.m. $10. —EK
