We’re not sure how much overlap there is in the Venn Diagram of pop country and classic outlaw country fans, but we’re firmly in the latter—and in this K102 dominated market much, much smaller—circle and we’re also very grateful for the burgeoning twangy and lyrically hard drinking scene. One of the leaders of the new old movement, The Federales, have brought their guitar-pickin’ message of beers and burritos to just about every venue in Twincy, and for the month of January they’ll be transforming the Amsterdam in St. Easy into their honky tonk home base.
