There’s little tradition in theater troupe Ten Thousand Things, from their venue selections (previously including jails and homeless shelters) to the content of their performances. Just look at their new staging: The characters in Kira Obolensky‘s The Changelings—featuring an incredibly talented cast that includes Kim Richardson and Shá Cage—go by Freshface and Goat, and they live in Threadsville Mills. The couples’ long-lost son (or is he!?) reappears and the excitingly non-traditional story starts off. The weekend the show runs at Bedlam Lowertown, next weekend at Open Book. Friday-Sunday. Various Times. —Hitara
