Cait Leary recently released her debut Let Me Have Tonight and we predict she’ll fit right in with the well-established bluesy folk scene in our backyard. The self-taught guitarist wrote, played, and co-produced all 10 tracks on her album, a dynamic mix of blues, folk, and acoustic music. Leary refers to her guitar style as “finger rhythm,” an appropriate and complementary term that represents her interest in slightly country-tinged melodies. Listen to “On the Run” and you’ll even find jazz influences. Leary’s sweet vocals are the perfect addition to a cold Sunday in January so make your way over to Barbette and warm up. 10 p.m. Free. —RO
