If you’ve been sleeping on Sound Unseen, there’s still time! And this weekend has some of the best showings, everything from Laurie Anderson‘s personal film essay Heart of a Dog at the Trylon to the story of low-rock legends Morphine in Morphine: Journey of Dreams at McNally Smith to Revolution, Riot Grrrl Style at the Bryant Lake Bowl. The SU Shorts Program also has a bunch of fantastic vignettes on incredible musicians and lyricists like Larry Pierce and Dessa (how’s that for a side-by-side mention, lol). There’s also a closing party blowout on Saturday to celebrate the festival with Nato Coles & The Blue Diamond Band (see other event listing), but don’t pose and party without seeing some of these great films. Friday-Sunday, various showtimes. $10 advance, $12 at the door. —Curt Stanski
