A massive theater event kicks off this weekend, the Guthrie theatre brings in three groundbreaking artists to show off their successful shows to a wider audience with the Solo Emerging Artist Celebration. The lineup includes Ifrah Mansour doing her critically acclaimed How to Have Fun in a Civil War that poetically showcases her (at times violent) childhood memories of the Somali Civil War, Antonio Duke embodying the victims of racial violence as inspired by the Iliad, and A.P. Looze doing some self-foraging. The run isn’t that long and tickets will go quick for this celebration of top-notch work, so pick your date now and lock it down. February 24th-March 11th, various times. $9.Margeaux Devereaux
