You’d think at some point the Twins would want to stop having concerts on the field (with all the damage it does to the grass), yet here were are. The Skyline Music Festival turns the third base line at the stadium into an amphitheater of sorts. This ain’t Paul McCartney, so they aren’t filling up the whole stadium. Instead, the stage will be just behind third base with seats available down the third base line only. We’re excited for night one on Friday, which they’re calling “Indie Night” and features Andrew Bird, The New Pornographers, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, S. Carey and Martin Dosh. Night two is headlined by O.A.R. and Melissa Ethridge, so they’re pretty much ditching the indie vibe there. They’ll also be joined by he Rembrandts, Gear Daddies and The Honeydogs. If you missed out on Sir Paul, here’s another chance to catch a concert at Target Field. Friday, 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 4 p.m. $29-$79. —EDJ
