One of the takeaways from The Growler‘s Great Debates on tap rooms vs bars is that the more legit personality a bar has, the easier it is to love in a deep way. It’s also easier for everyone to get excited for a grand re-opening, too, especially with this much personality: The redone Black Hart bar in St. Easy, located just down the street from the recently completed MNUFC soccer stadium, is now a big time soccer bar, but is still a place for the queer community. The venue’s grand re-open showcases the mix with a full of events on Saturday, from an early morning Premier League Watch Party feat. Arsenal v. Tottenham Hotspur to celebrity bartenders (like soccer legend Tony Sanneh) to a Summit Brewing Raffle to karaoke featuring the beloved MPLS sound to Legendary Performer Barbara Gordon and her famous Lip Service cabaret drag show in the evening. Regardless of time of day, expect this to be one of the busiest, most fun parties of the weekend—and likely all soccer season. Saturday, March 1st, 9 AM. Free.Abby Warmacher
