The most fun music fest of late summer isn’t at a taproom or parking lot, it’s on the porches throughout the Powderhorn neighborhood in Minneapolis. There’s both coordinated shows and impromptu day-of appearances by a whole host of musicians—mostly solo acoustic acts, but the occasional full bands next to a garage. Go for the sounds, stay for the strong neighborly community vibes as people offer their lawn chairs and beer. Saturday, September 21st, 4 PM. Free. —Mitch Paradise
