We frequently hype up the one-two punches of Rosalux’s joint artist shows, but it’s been awhile since we’ve been as excited as we are for this one. Areca Roe continues to build on her engaging stylized photography with new work that captures the environmental changes around Fairbanks, AK where the permafrost is no longer perma and the shifting landscape is altering areas of forests to become tilted or “drunken”. Installation artist Rebecca Krinke, who wow’d us with her Reckoning show last year, raises up a new bed sculpture with the imposing new Down Below, a piece that really does embody the mystery and power of our subconscious, our intuition, and our dreams. The opening reception will be a can’t miss for any art fans. Saturday, June 8, 7 PM. Free.King Rojas
