Roots to Table: Indeed Brewing Dinner at the Red Stag

It’s true: Twin Citians love to dine. And when a dining event is associated with non-profit work, you bet we’ll be tucking our napkins into our collars. In the spirit of good food and giving back, Heavy Table is launching a new event series called Roots to Table. On the heels of successful North Coast Nosh, a “sip-and-sample gathering,” Roots to Table is meant to gather food lovers for an evening of local beer and wine, fine food, and good company, with proceeds benefiting a local non-profit in the food movement.
Head over to the Red Stag for this inaugural event, featuring produce from DragSmith Farms, specialty entrees from the Red Stag chefs, and beer pairings from Indeed Brewing Company (wet your whistle with the brewery’s Day Tripper Pale Ale, Midnight Ryder American Black Ale, Stir Crazy Winter Ale, and Hot Box Imperial Smoked Pepper Porter.) A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Youth Farm & Market Project, an organization dedicated to providing urban agriculture education to kids and young adults.
