As improbable as it sounds, when Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge went about writing a novel, he ended up working with acclaimed young adult author and local lit folk hero Geoff Herbach. (Maybe DeLonge heard about how hard our lit scene parties?) The end story Strange Times: The Ghost in the Girl is an engaging and page-turning “skater boy paranormal odyssey”, as well as the one of the one-two punch of tonight’s Mager’s & Quinn readings.
