Art is pretty much universally existential and all about making you think so it’s no surprise when an exhibit is called Origin of the Moment. That’s a totally mind-numbing topic to try and wrap your head around, but luckily three artists (Art Gillespie, David Hamlow, and David Zak) have done it for you and created art exploring how time creates a sense of the moment in an exhibit opening tomorrow at Instinct Art Gallery. The work is all deeply personal looks into the artists own lives and how certain moments have given them a sense of place and how the passing of time leads up to a given moment. It’s a super interesting topic, that leads to some pretty thought-provoking art. Saturday, 6 p.m. Free. —EJ
