Here it is, the all night art festival! And without the hurricane-like conditions of last year! You all know about Northern Spark, and may of you are going, so we’ll just throw a couple suggestions at you. First, we think it’s more fun the later you go. Second, if you can afford the Launch Party at the Mill City Museum Courtyard, you should go—there’s amazing artistic food, specialty cocktails, coffee(!) and music from Adam Levy. Third, bring snacks. There’s food, but you’ll want to gnosh. Last, highlights of the program for us include the Night Library at the Mill City Ruins Park, The Water Bar at Northrop Auditorium, Write Fight III at Peavey Plaza, Michael Friedman and the Rain Taxi “Revue” perform scenes from Friedman’s novels at The Walker, and the Game Bar and Electronic Playground at Peavey Plaza. And of course the Cloud Cult show at the MPLS Convention CenterSaturday, 9 PM-Sunday, 5 AM. Free. —Laura Peterson
