It’s another packed weekend of events that highlight MPLS + STPL as an outpost of arts and culture, including two really amazing festivals that overlap on Saturday—and you’re going to have to figure out how to do both. First, the highly acclaimed Theater Mu hosts the New Eyes Festival, a series of readings of new works from Asian American playwrights that serves as “an artistic incubator for thoughts and ideas looking to be born onto the stage”. The four fantastic stories include a one-person show inspired by the 1965 Delano Grape Strike, two Thai-American brothers who launch a ghost-hunting business, a new take on Hmong folk tale-inspired stories, and the search for a hot Asian doctor Husband. Saturday, Throughout the day.Ashlynn McKinney
