More Weekend Happenings
Friday
If you like classical music at all, you should definitely go check out the Arditti String Quartet at MacPhail; the very cool looking DIGIFABULOUS 2014 opens at The Regis Center for Art; another show that looks just beautiful is SCATEGORIES at The Abstracted gallery; we give our Scene + Be Seen pick of the week to Night Moves w/ Red Daughters & the Cactus Blossoms show at the Varsity; Charlotte Ferguson will be showing her photos and kissing cheeks at Modern Times; and the fine folks at Kolman & Pryor let us know to arrive early if we expect a seat at tonight’s artist talk lead by Christina Schmid and featuring the artists in K&P’s wonderful exhibition Guess Ready Review.
Saturday
None other than Mr. Scott Seekins curated The Lost Art show at Gamut gallery; Black Joe Lewis plays the fun-kay Glitter Ball 5 benefit at the Grain Belt Bottling House; the one and only Karl Frankowski returns to Attitude City at Club Jager; and catch up-and-coming buzz band Perfect Pussy at the Entry.
