Midsummer Night’s Stroll at Weisman Art Museum

WeismanArtMuseum

When admiring art, don’t you wish you could know the artist’s inner thoughts? Why that color? Why that shape? What’s the motive? Weisman Art Museum hears you loud and clear. The U of M’s art museum is offering the chance for you to pick the brains of three featured summer artists while checking out their respective works. Harriet Bart will discuss her painting, “Re-Marks/Poetry,” Randy Johnston will talk about his ceramic works in the Hodroff Gallery, and Wing Young Huie will discuss his work, “Egg Toss, Minneapolis, MN,” on view in PHOTO NATION. 6:30 p.m. Free. —HS
