Politics and art seem to find themselves in cahoots more often than not, and as a community that’s teeming with both, it’s no surprise that Intermedia Arts displays an exhibit on the current issue of the marriage amendment. “Love is Love” continues the dialogue that many Minnesotans have begun in hopes to determine what it means to be a community, specifically surrounding marriage. This exhibit takes on visual, performing, and written arts to explore the impact of this amendment on Minnesota, and is sure to spark discussion between viewers. If you’re for the amendment, against the amendment, or a political science/art double major (there has to be a few of those that exist) then it might be worth your while to check out this artistic creation surrounding November 6, 2012. (Dislcaimer: All opinions expressed are those of the artists. We recommend art, not politics.) 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Free. —AA
