Don’t ignore the library, they’ve got all kinds of cool stuff going on that can help you in your career. That’s our new motto. Or should be, at least. Tonight  The Library Salon Series at the American Craft Council Library brings a bunch of people who know a ton about libraries to tell you how awesome and helpful they can be. New York Public Library Rare Books Division Librarian Jessica Pigza (she’s also the author of the longest titled book ever, BiblioCraft: A Modern Crafter’s Guide to Using Library Resources to Jumpstart Creative Projects), and Library as Incubator Project co-founders Laura Damon-Moore and Erinn Batykefer, authors of The Artist’s Library: A Field Guide will share their expertise on how to use the library as a creative tool. The event is free but space is limited so show up early because you don’t want to be the person turned away from the library because you were late to a free event. 6:30 p.m. Free. —EJ
