The Los Angeles-based trio, which includes two Strothers sisters from MPLS making their return, have been praised by the likes of NPR and Rolling Stone since their first live performance in 2013 . . . opening for Prince at the Forum. In the few years since that auspicious debut, KING have refined their eclectic electro-soul sound and have won over fans as much as critics throughout the country. We’re surprised there are tickets left to see the trio so up close at the Dakota, but don’t pass them up. 7 PM. $27-35.Ashlynn McKinney
