Fan of brash creative expression will be in for a treat when National Book Award finalist Kim Addonizio—who was somewhat famously put down as “Bukowski in a Sundress”—reads from her new memoir titled after the cheap, and we feel inaccurate, put down. The new book looks at Addonizio’s life as an artist who makes impinging and often comedic work like “What Writers Do All Day,” “How to Fall for a Younger Man,” and “Necrophilia” (attraction to men who are dead . . . inside), and she’ll also join the Loft’s Education director Jennifer Dodgson in discussion. 7 PM.
