Help the tsunami and earthquake recovery effort in Japan by stopping into Camp Bar tonight to hear some tunes from some familiar and talented folks in the local jazz scene. The fundraiser, organized by the Music Business class taught by professor and jazz vocalist Rhonda Laurie at the Minnesota School of Business, includes Debbie Duncan, Robert Bell, Maud Hixson, and even professor Laurie herself later in the evening. Many more vocalists, instrumentalists, and bands will also be taking the stage and Larry Englund from KFAI will be on hand to emcee. The swingin’ starts at 6 p.m. at Camp Bar in St. Paul. Tickets $15. For more information, visit Camp-bar’s website.
