MessageInABottle

Light Grey Art Lab curator Lindsay Nohl has put together “Message in a Bottle,” a show about hidden messages, secrets, and illusions meant to be studied, deciphered, and discussed. Stop by the opening reception for a series of interesting and artistic activities. The exhibit features work from more than 40 international artists and includes several pieces of interactive art, including one where visitors are invited to use their fingerprints to mark a gridded canvas, slowly revealing a message. Additionally, visitors have the chance to win a limited edition print for finding hidden images and secrets in the artwork. Want a taste of the artwork? Check out featured artist Jackie Batey before the artistic evening arrives. 7 p.m. Free. —RO
